Two men arrested back on June 20 on charges associated with the sale of marijuana have been formally charged by the state.
24-year-old Austin Sage and and 54-year-old Gary Sage were arrested in the 1400 block of Eastland for allegedly being in possession of a sellers quantity of marijuana. According to the complaint, they had at least 450-grams, but less then 30-kilograms of pot.
Charges against Gary Sage include possession of marijuana within a thousand feet of a school, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, sale of marijuana alleging he sold 450-grams, but less then 30-kilograms of pot. He’s also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, and no drug tax stamp. Austin Sage is charged with two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
The cases against the two men will now be placed on a future waiver-status docket and both are free on bond.
