BUHLER, Kan. — Budget work continues for various government entities around the area. The Buhler City Council will meet to set a date for next year’s budget Tuesday evening.
The proposed budget calls for a 1.49 mill increase over last year. The proposed budget is $1, 434,929 on levies taxes of $325,211. The mill levy would increase to 51.611 mills. If approved, a public hearing will be held August 5th.
Tomorrow’s meeting of the Buhler City Council begins at 7 p.m. in the city offices at 219 N. Main.
