HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band made for a great turn out at the Fox Theatre last night, and it was a big benefit financially for the Fox.
The performance by the popular band was funded by Wiley Plaza developers Manske & Associates. The concert sold more than 990 tickets and generated more than $44,000. One hundred percent of all concert ticket sales have been donated to the Fox Theatre, thanks to the support of Manske & Associates.
The company is in the process of renovating the historic Wiley Building just west of the Fox, along with the building of a parking garage to the east of the theatre.
The concert was a way for Manske and Associates to say thank you to the fox for their patience during the construction.
