HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man was critically injured after he crashed his motorcycle during a high speed chase early Sunday morning.
Hutchinson Police report that 23-year-old Antonio Cordero of 901 S. Main was on the bike when police tried to stop him in the 400 block of North Adams for a traffic violation. At that time, Cordero raced off north on Adams. The chase continued to the Countryside Park area where Cordero crashed the bike. He was taken to the ICU unit of Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, flee and elude and no driver’s license.
The chase started around 4 a.m. and lasted only a few minutes.
