HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A Hutchinson man convicted in a drug case from January of 2012, was scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday, but didn’t appear in court.

Kameron Crowder is apparently being held in another jail on a separate matter and a bench warrant of $50,000. has been issued to ensure that he appears in Reno County District at some point.

He was convicted of conspiracy to manufacture of a cocaine base, while he had originally been charged with the actual manufacture of a cocaine base, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture crack cocaine. The alleged crimes occurring back on January 12, 2012.

The state at one point had dropped the charges, but refiled them again leading to him being convicted and was scheduled for sentencing.

When the sentencing will occur now is unclear.
