A 25-year-old Hutchinson man jailed for two cases can add a third.
Jacob Henson now faces a charge of aggravated battery after he and another inmate got into fight inside the jail annex.
Apparently, the victim, Joshua Holmes got the worst end of the fight suffering a broken jaw and broken finger. he was allegedly bragging over some sexual encounter and that was allegedly enough to set Henson off. This occurring on Wednesday in the Reno County Jail Annex.
In court, Assistant District Attorney Cheryl Allen asked that the 5-thousand dollar bond be raised while Henson again asked for it to be lowered. City Prosecutor Mike Robinson who was acting as the Pro-Tem Judge denied both request and left the bond at 5-thousand.
Henson had been in court Thursday morning on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of Oxycodone, possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, namely prescription drugs, both with a prior convictions and possession of drug paraphernalia. All of these crimes occurring back on March 7, 2013.
He’s also charged with violating a “protection from abuse” order which occurred back on May 15
Henson’s bonds now total 20-thousand dollars for the three cases.
Holmes is jailed on a failure to appear in a case against him.
