HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Little River Township in Northern Reno County wants to make a number of 3-way intersections safer.
County Commissioners will consider a request to place stop signs at six different intersections during tomorrow’s regular meeting. The stop signs would be placed at 17th and 69th Avenues along Willison Road, 43rd Avenue at Rayl, Woodberry and Worthington Roads, and 56th Avenue at Victory Road. The county is also planning to place a new stop sign for westbound traffic on what will become Pleasant Hills Parkway, once the new retirement center is completed, and consider placing a yield sign at 43rd Avenue and Victory Road.
Tuesday’s Reno County Commission meeting is set for 9 a.m. at the Reno County Courthouse.
