HUTCHINSON, Kan — A 25 year old Hutchinson man was arrested after being involved in a hit and run accident this 
morning.
Police took Cody Hazard of 322 west 7th into custody around 8 am after he reportedly hit a parked vehicle next door to his residence two hours earlier. While hazard was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and no liability insurance, he was jailed for failing to appear on charges of theft and and domestic violence from two separate cases. Hazard is to be sentenced tomorrow in a case where he entered a guilty plea to one count of child abuse. He could face between 3 and 11 years in prison.
Hazard remains in custody without bond.
