The employees at the Siemens nacelle plant in Hutchinson are spending the day celebrating a milestone. The plant, which has been in Hutchinson since 2011 has gone more than 1 million working hours without a lost time injury accident.
The plant treated its employees to lunch and gave them some nice gifts to commemorate the event, including a certificate which included all of the employees in a photograph in front of the plant.
Siemens also announced that they have surpassed the assembly of 1,000 nacelles at the plant, and will hit the 1,500 mark by the end of the year.
