A few showers and thunderstorms are possible over far southeast Kansas, southern Missouri, eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas Friday, as an upper level disturbance approaches from the northwest. Warmer and breezy conditions will prevail Saturday, with thunderstorm chances increasing late in the day through overnight. Precipitation chances will continue to increase for Sunday and Sunday night, with a strong cold front triggering widespread showers and thunderstorms across the region, and ushering much colder air south. This may result in light wintry precipitation over generally the northwest two-thirds of Kansas Sunday and Sunday night. Light snow accumulations are possible.
