A new construction project at Hutchinson Community College will begin this month with a groundbreaking ceremony set for the new Jack Mull Family Football Complex and Bob and Lou Peel Weight Room.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project will be held Friday at 4:00 p-m. at Gowans Stadium. The ceremony will take place on the East side of the current Football Office facility.
Members of the HCC administration, HCC Board of Trustees, donors, supporters and HCC President Dr. Edward Berger will be among the group which will begin the project at the ceremony. The project is scheduled for completion in late summer 2014.
A&A Builders of Hutchinson will serve as the general contractor for the building plans. The facility will provide office, training and meeting space for the football team and athletic department.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the ceremony.
