Hutchinson Police and other emergency vehicles were called to the parking lot just south of the Subway Restaurant at 719 North Main for the report of a stabbing. A teen apparently suffering a wound while inside a vehicle in the lot, but nothing life threatening.
Those in the vehicle say it was an accident, however Police are still investigating. The wounded teen declined to be taken to the hospital by Reno County EMS. But, Police tell us that his wound will need to be treated and say they intend to see that it is.
Those involved appear to have just gotten sandwiches at the Subway Restaurant with some carrying bags with sandwiches inside.
No names have been released and police again are investigating.
