Hutchinson Man Expected in Court In Latest Marijuana Distribution Case

The 26-year-old Hutchinson man two cases pending for the alleged distribution of marijuana is expect back in court Wednesday for a status hearing in a third case.

The case involves a drug related search warrant being served on Jeremy Jiles apartment at 1300 East 33rd, back on February 21st. Drug Unit Detectives allegedly found a black backpack that contained over a pound of marijuana, a digital scale and new packaging materials. They also found a large quantity of cash in his dresser drawer.

Jiles remains jailed on a 150-thousand dollar bond and has Wichita Attorney Charlie O’Hara representing him for his other cases which includes charges associated with the distribution of marijuana.

The case goes back to September 20, 2013. In this case, he allegedly had more then 450-grams of marijuana, as well as packaging materials. And in a third case which goes back to January 16, he also allegedly had a large amount of marijuana, more then 450-grams as well as packaging materials.

All of the cases are pending a preliminary hearing.
