Hutchinson Fireman responded to a house fire at 546 East 3rd, Thursday. When they arrived, they found light smoke coming from the attic area out of the back of the residence.
The fire was extinguished in 10-minutes with damage estimated at around 8-thousand dollars. . The cause of the fire appears to be electrical.
The home was occupied by 2 people at the time of the fire, but no injuries were reported. The electrical issue was able to be isolated and the residents were allowed back in the home.
