One person was killed and another hurt in a two vehicle accident in the county Saturday morning.
Killed was 20-year-old Allyson R. Yutzy, of Sterling.
She was westbound on K-14/K-96 when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed into the east bound lanes and was struck by another vehicle. That vehicle was driven by 24-year-old Thomas Fortune of Butte, Montana. He was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment. Both were wearing seatbelts.
The accident occurring around 11:10 am, on K-14/K-96 at Fairview, about 4-miles west of Nickerson.
