A 26-year-old Hutchinson man with two other cases pending for the alleged distribution of marijuana was arrested again late Friday.

A drug related search warrant was served on Jeremy Jiles apartment at 1300 East 33rd. They allegedly found a black backpack that contained over a pound of marijuana, a digital scale and new packaging materials. They also found a large quantity of cash in his dresser drawer.

Jiles was in court Monday morning where he requested a reduction of the 150-thousand dollar bond, but that was denied by Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen. Potential charges include possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp.

As we mentioned, he has two other cases pending all for the distribution of marijuana. The first arrest coming back on September 20, 2013. In this case, he allegedly had more then 450-grams of marijuana, as well as packaging materials.

The third case took place back on January 16, of this year where again he allegedly had a large amount of marijuana, more then 450-grams as well as packaging materials.

He’ll be back in court Wednesday for a status hearing and to see if the state has filed formal charges in the latest case.
