The brother of Hutchinson City Councilwoman, Jade Piros-de Carvalho has been found dead in Arizona. According to the Yavapai County Sheriff department, 37-year-old Randall Scott was discovered by a BNSF train crew near Seligman, Arizona around 4:45 a-m, Monday morning.
Apparently Scott boarded Amtrak SW Chief Sunday morning and was suppose to depart the train in Kingman, Arizona. How Scott died is uncertain, but it appears he left the train while it was in motion.
It’s unknown what caused Scott to exit the apparently moving Amtrak train sometime around 1:30 a-m, on Monday. Detectives are currently working with officials from the Amtrak Police Department to trace Scott’s movements and attempt to locate witnesses. Additionally, YCSO detectives have been in contact with Los Angeles County Sheriff Department officials who examined the train at Union Station.
The investigation remains ongoing.
