The city of Hutchinson is looking for a new Director for the Hutchinson Zoo. Jana Durham left the position as Hutchinson Zoo Director of the small facility in Carey Park. Her last day was Friday.
According the City’s Human Resources Department, the job listing has been posted with the Association of Zoo’s and Aquarium’s to look for a replacement.
The zoo is currently in the middle of a major fund raising campaign to build a new otter exhibit as well as other improvements.
Durham was with the zoo for a little over 2 years.
