A 23-year-old Pretty Prairie man was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after a one vehicle accident east of Hutchinson late Tuesday evening.
The accident was discovered around 11:40 p-m, when a Reno County Sheriff Deputy Kevin Sipe was patrolling in the 6800 block of East 4th., when he saw a white Chevy 2500 truck in the north ditch.
The driver was identified as Cody Willhaus. Reno County EMS responded to the scene to check out Willhaus who was then transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The investigation reveals that the vehicle had been east bound on 4th when it crossed the center line and then left the roadway into the north ditch striking two mail boxes, and several trees before coming to rest in the north ditch.
Sheriff officials say alcohol is suspected as being a contributing factor.
