Three Kansas Men And One Woman Have Been Indicted On Federal Drug Trafficking Charges

Three men and one woman here in Kansas have been indicted in federal court for drug trafficking. That includes 34-year-old Jamie L. Herron, of Wichita, 37-year-old Cory L. Poulter of Halstead, 47-year-old Roy L. Scott of Sedgwick and 60-year-old Susan M. Henks of LaCrosse.

Herron is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, eight counts of distributing methamphetamine and one count of possession of methamphetamine.

Poulter is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and four counts of distributing methamphetamine.

Scott is charged with six counts of distributing methamphetamine.

Henks is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

The crimes carry the following penalties if they are convicted.

For possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, the penalty is not less than five years and not more than 40-years in federal prison and a fine up to $2 million.

For distributing methamphetamine, the penalty is a maximum penalty of 20-years and a fine up to $1 million.

For possession of methamphetamine, the penalty is a maximum penalty of one year and a fine up to $100,000.

The Newton Police Department, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Wichita Police Department investigated this case.
