An semi accident on K-14 this afternoon turned out to be fairly minor. 31-year-old Jeffrey Martin Compton of Great Bend was traveling west on K-14 when his semi left the roadway for an unknown reason. He attempted to bring the semi back onto the roadway and then lost control with the semi rolling over.
Compton was treated at the scene for minor injuries to his head and face, but refused to be transported to the hospital. He was wearing a seat-belt.
The accident occurring about 2:20 p-m, this afternoon about a half mile west of Centennial Road on K-14.
The accident closed K-14 highway from Nickerson west to Sego Road for several hours.
