Two people were taken to an area hospital after a vehicle collided with a cow in the roadway on K-96 and Obee Road.
Injured was the driver 49-year-old Freda F. Rankin and her passenger, 50-year-old Darrell Rankin, both of Haven. Freda Rankin was not wearing a seat-belt, while Darrell was according to the Kansas Highway Patrol Report.
They were eastbound on K-96 and struck the cow at the intersection of K-96 and Obee. This occurring about 10:50 p-m, Friday night.
