Mike Hambley, Doctor of Minsitry, has been named Executive Director for the Ray E. Dillon Living Center, effective December 16.
Hambley replaces Tyler Lawrence, who is relocating his family to the Houston, Texas, area at some point in the near future.
Hambley joined Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System in 2009 in the combined roles of Program Development Director and Bereavement Coordinator for Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County.
Hambley has an undergraduate degree in Social Science from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan; a Master’s degree in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky; an MBA from Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina; and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan.
In making the announcement, Kevin Miller, F.A.C.H.E., President and CEO of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System, said Hambley will be a great leader for the team at Ray E. Dillon Living Center.
“His four years of experience as a member of the Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System team, coupled with his multiple higher education degrees has provided valuable training for the position he is about to assume,” Miller said. “Mike arrives at Ray E. Dillon Living Center at a challenging time in our history as issues including Medicare and Medicaid funding and reimbursements are being debated both at the Statehouse and on the federal level. We are confident his leadership skills are what are needed to lead the organization through these difficult times.”
Ray E. Dillon Living Center opened its doors in 1990, and is located on the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center campus. The 89-room facility includes assisted living, skilled nursing and long term care. There are sixty rooms available for intermediate care with the remaining 29 rooms for assisted living.
