A Hutchinson man arrested for allegedly eluding law enforcement earlier this month was back in court Tuesday morning for the formal reading of charges.
Christopher Hall has been charged by the state with felony flee and elude, driving while suspended and disorderly conduct.
The case started in the early morning hours of November 18, when Hutchinson Police responded to a disturbance around 3:30 a-m at the I-Hop Restaurant on the east side of Hutchinson. They then tried to make contact with Hall, but he allegedly refused to stop his vehicle and the chase began. It eventually ended on U-S 50 where he stopped his vehicle and surrendered, this around 4 a-m.
After Judge Randy McEwen increased the bond to 5-thousand dollars last week from the initial 24-hundred, he lowered again Tuesday morning to the original amount, mainly because of Hall’s lack of any substantial criminal history.
He’ll be back in court on December 11, for a status hearing in the case.
