A 22-year-old Hutchinson man who was arrested Sunday evening at his residence at 1414 North Madison on drug charges was back in court Wednesday where he was read the formal charges against him.
Dustin Bright faces charges of possession of hallucinogens, in this case mushrooms with intent to sell within a 1,000 feet of a school, possession of potpourri, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp.
Bright had been listed as absconder from his community corrections since July 17. This on a conviction for being in possession of drugs for a case going back to January.
His bond is set at 15-thousand dollars and he’ll be back in court for a status hearing at a later date.
Also arrested Sunday was 37-year-old Charles Davis Jr. He faces charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His bond set at 35-hundred and he was able to post bond and will be back in court at a later date.
