HUTCHINSON, Kan. — One of three people arrested by the Reno County Drug Unit after they served a search warrant on a home in the 700 block of Brookside Drive is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday.

Sixty-year-old Willard LaGrange is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and personal use drug paraphernalia

He was arrested along with 58-year-old David Danner and Tena Nelson.

During the search, the drug unit alleges that it found 3.6 grams of methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia, including packaging materials and a small amount of marijuana. The meth was split into several small baggies, which weighed about 2 grams each. Most of what they found was allegedly in the room belonging to LaGrange. This occurred in October of last year.

The hearing is scheduled in front of Judge Joe McCarville, but all scheduled hearings are subject to change.
