HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 21-year-old man was injured in a one vehicle accident in the county early Monday.
John Cowan was driving his Ford Explorer east on Arlington Road from K-14 Highway. He said the front passenger side tire left the roadway as he looked down at his cell phone. He attempted to drive back onto the road and over corrected, lost control of the vehicle. It rolled 2-3 times coming to rest on it’s driver side.
He was reportedly bleeding from his left hand and complaining of pain in his neck. They transported him to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The accident occurring around 7:50 am, Monday morning.
