HUTCHINSON, Kan. — It has been a part of Hutchinson for more than seven decades, but on Thursday, Fraese Drug will close its doors, ending a 77-year business in the downtown area.
According to Don Kauffman, Fraese has sold its prescription files to Dillons Stores, and starting Friday, those records will be accessible at the Fifth and Adams store pharmacy. Café 25, which recently moved into the building and replaced the soda fountain, will continue to do business at that location.
The decision to move Fraese accounts to the Dillons at 206 W. Fifth was because of its location near the pharmacy, according to Kauffman.
