HUTCHINSON, Kan. — If the weather cooperates, and right now it looks like it will, paving on the North 
Main Street project should be completed by Wednesday.
Crews have already finished one of seven lanes that make up Main Street and are in the process of paving all of the side street entryways as well as the intersection with 30th Avenue. Hutchinson Public Works is confident that they will be able to get striping crews in right away and put the finishing touches on the first of three phases of work that will renovate Main all the way to 7th Avenue.
Bidding on the second phase, which will run from 23rd Avenue to 17th, is expected to go out later next month.
