HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Reno County Sheriff’s Office is seeking your help. Deputies Monday were dispatched to Silverlake Rd. and Yoder Rd. on the report of a robbery.
When they arrived, they found 48-year-old Timothy Ray Ball had an abrasion to his face and a stab wound to his lower right abdomen. He told deputies that two Hispanic males about 5’5”to 5’6” in height, medium build and about 30 to 35 years of age had robbed him of his cash and a Ruger, 9 mm handgun.
He stated a scuffle occurred and he had been hit in the face and stabbed in the stomach and one of the males had a handgun.
He stated one of the males threw his keys into a field and they both left eastbound in a 2000-2008 Honda Accord dark blue in color with South Carolina tags.
During the investigation it was discovered the evidence did not match what was being told to the deputies.
