A 30-year-old Hutchinson man is free on a 6-thousand dollar bond after he allegedly sold a half pound of marijuana to an undercover drug detective late Monday evening.
Kenneth Boyer has been formally charged with the sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and two counts of no tax stamp.
Boyer met with the undercover detective in the parking lot of Family Video at 30th & Severance. He sold the detective a half pound of marijuana for 500-dollars. He was then arrested and allegedly told detectives that had more pot at his home. He took the officers to his home where allegedly another 392-grams of marijuana was found.
With the formal charges filed, the case will now move to a future waiver-status docket.
