PAWNEE COUNTY –Three people were injured in an accident just before 4p.m. on Sunday in Pawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chevy Impala driven by Canuto Perez-Sierra, 50, Deerfield was westbound on Kansas 156 just west of Kansas 264.
The vehicle started to slide due to icy road conditions.
The vehicle slid sideways into the eastbound lane and struck an eastbound Mercury Mountaineer driven by Colten Tipton, 25, Hutchinson.
Perez-Sierra and passengers in the Impala Maria Perez, 48, and Canuto Perez Jr., 9, were transported to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital
Tipton passengers in the Mercury Lisa Ryan, 23, and two children all of Hutchinson, all suffered minor injuries. They were not transported by EMS but did require treatment.
