HUTCHINSON – The annual “Adopt-A-Child” campaign with Eagle Radio Station, “Country 102.9” is wrapping up with those who adopted kids bringing presents to the Eagle Media Center at 9th & Main. The effort is for needy children in the area including Reno, Harvey, McPherson and Rice counties.
The response of Country 102.9 listeners is unbelievable with their kindness and generosity making for a better Christmas for these kids. Over 230 children were adopted through this effort.
One company in Hutchinson adopted 100-kids according to Country 102.9 Program Director, Randy McKay. Portfolio Recovery Associates came with several vehicles and loaded up the large conference room with presents. The picture above shows a sampling of what that room looks like.
But, we want to thank everyone who adopted a child through the “Adopt-A-Child” promotion. We also want to thank the staff from Peoples Bank & Trust who assisted Eagle staff and others accepting the gifts from this who adopted kids.
