Hutch man busted for drug distribution

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 25-year-old man stopped by Hutchinson police late Saturday was taken to jail on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp.

Tyler D. Geddes was stopped in the 700 block of East 4th and police apparently found what they believed to be a dealers quantity of marijuana.

The stop occurring around 11:20 p.m. Saturday night.

Geddes is stranger to law enforcement having served time in prison for cases going back to 2010 and 2011. Convictions were for possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp. He was paroled back in Dec. of last year.

He managed to post bond meaning he’ll make an initial court appearance on the charges at some later date.
