HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 27-year-old man arrested on Nov. 3 on several charges involving the distribution of drugs was expected back in court Thursday morning for the formal reading of charges, however, a mix up between the Reno County Correctional Facility and the courts has delayed that by one day.
Kristopher Lee Richards faces potential charges of possession of methamphetamine, K-2 or synthetic marijuana, Oxycontin and marijuana, all with intent to distribute. Other potential charges include possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp and possession of a firearm and driving while suspended.
He has another case pending where he’s charged with possession of methamphetamine and Hydrocodone with intent to sell within a thousand feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana. That case goes back to Oct. 19.
His bond is set at $30,150.
