A 21-year-old man who only list an address as USA and was in court Wednesday morning where he was read the formal complaint alleging possession of methamphetamine, felony flee and elude and possession of drug paraphernalia now faces numerous charges associated with the burglary of businesses in the Hutchinson area in recent weeks.
They apparently identified Michael Morgan as being a suspect in the burglaries. On the jail log they list burglary, theft and criminal damage to the other charges already filed from an earlier arrest.
21 Santa Fe at 17 West B, where someone took a .380 handgun from their business after it was broken into. That was reported Tuesday morning.
On Monday, a Hutchinson resident on North Maple reported that someone entered his truck and took his Ruger LCR .38 5-shot revolver.
Another recent burglary included the Rent-a-center at 503 East. 4th. They reported someone forcing entry into the business and taking a television.
As we had told you earlier, Moore had been stopped by Hutchinson Police just before 2 a-m on August 6, after he led them on a short chase. During the arrest, they allegedly found him in possession of methamphetamine, and the personal use drug paraphernalia.
He is jailed on a bond of 193-thousand dollars.
