HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two of three men suspected of being involved with the kidnapping, robbery and burglaries in the city have been bound over for trial for one of the home invasion cases.
Twenty-year-old Frederick Lemens (top right) is charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and two counts of aggravated battery.
Nineteen-year-old Dakota Anderson (top left) is charged with aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of aggravated battery and two counts of aggravated burglary.
Both were bound over for trial after Judge Joe McCarville found there was probable cause for the case involving one of the home invasions which involved a 56-year-old Hutchinson man.
Nineteen-year-old Jordan Leffel who waived his right to a preliminary hearing faces a total of eight counts including two level one felonies for aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated robbery and three counts of aggravated burglary. That includes the taking of cash, cars, electronics and firearms.
Seventeen-year-old Brendan Jones is also charged with his case going through juvenile court.
The four are also suspected in the robbery of the Family Affair business located at 1515 E. 4th.
There were two home invasions, one at 3601 Rockwood Dr. and the other at 3415 N. Waldron occurred on April 6, May 4 and May 14.
Police conducted a number of search warrants in association with these crimes and allege they found items from all the crimes leading to the four arrests.
Judge Joe McCarville found there was probable cause for the case to proceed to trial.
