HUTCHINSON, Kan. – After her attorney informed the court that no plea agreement with the state could be reached, Mandy Franklin through her attorney notified the court she would plead guilty as charged in a drug distribution case.
She entered pleas to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within a thousand feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was arrested I Dec. of last year along with Bryan Buckwalter. The arrest happened after DEU agents served a search warrant at the couple’s residence at 1009 E. 13th, where they reported finding meth, owe sheets, scales and other paraphernalia.
With Franklin entering the pleas, Judge Tim Chambers set a sentencing date of Dec. 9.
