YODER, Kan. – A Wichita woman was injured in a one vehicle accident in Yoder Monday morning.
Reno County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the scene. The vehicle had collided into the front of Yoder Meats. The driver of the vehicle, 57-year-old Garold B Jason Jr of Wichita said he had pulled into the parking lot and pushed the accelerator instead of the brake causing the crash. Jason did not report any injuries and refused treatment by EMS.
His passenger, 43-year-old Stephanie Anderson also of Wichita complained of neck and head pain and was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Haven EMS.
Jason reported wearing his seatbelt, while Anderson was not wearing hers.
No one inside the business was hurt. Jason was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
The accident is still under investigation.
