HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 37-year-old man charged by the state with distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia used to cultivate or manufacture a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Friday.
Ryan Peterson earlier waived his right to a preliminary hearing in the case. He was arrested on the charges on May 23, 2014, after a drug search was conducted at a home he shares with Lacey Nelson. The state alleges that law enforcement found a Pyrex dish with a white powdery substance, a digital scale with meth residue and new packaging materials.
The arraignment is scheduled in front of Judge Trish Rose.
