HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 36-year-old man who entered pleas for multiple counts of stalking and theft in one case and robbery and aggravated burglary in another is scheduled for sentencing Friday.

Timothy Drumgould entered “no contest” pleas to two felonies, that being robbery and criminal threat. He also entered pleas to four counts of stalking and two counts of theft. As a part of the plea agreement, the state lowered the stalking counts from felonies to misdemeanors. They also dropped a charge of aggravated burglary.

One of the cases deals with him stealing a cell phone and some keys. He allegedly had contact with the victim from an earlier case a number of times, violating the conditions of his bond. All of these crimes occurred on various dates in March.

The other case against Drumgould involves the same victim. In that case from Feb. 18, he allegedly forced his way into the victim’s home and stole money, as much as $600, according to statements made in court.

The state apparently won’t oppose the defense request for community corrections.

The sentencing is scheduled in front of District Judge Tim Chambers but, as always, is subject to change.
