HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Hutchinson School Board will meet in special session Monday at 7 p.m. to
interview four potential candidates to fill the school board vacancy.
Four individuals have applied for the position. They are, James L. Parker, Kail K. Denison, Katie M. Perez and Rudy P. Rodriguez.
One of the four will replace Jennifer Cook, who was elected to the board in April but notified the board she was moving out of the district and subsequently sent a letter of resignation to the board. They accepted that resignation at its July 13 meeting and began the formal process to replace Cook.
Again the special meeting of the school board will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the school district offices at 1520 N. Plum.
