MCPHERSON, Kan. – A 22-year-old Wisconsin woman was taken to a McPherson hospital Monday night after a crash on I-135 near the K-61 exit.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol , one of their troopers was southbound on the interstate and observed the vehicle driven by Siarra Monique Gracia of Alemna, Wisconsin approaching from the rear at a high rate of speed. The trooper says he pulled over to the shoulder. The vehicle then slowed to a stop. A second vehicle also southbound then struck the Gracia vehicle.
Gracia was taken to the hospital in McPherson for treatment, while the driver of the other vehicle, Darrian Audrey Desiree Siever of Derby was not injured.
The accident occurring around 8:50 p.m.
