HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Hutchinson Police are working a hit and run accident that happened early this 
afternoon.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 17-year-old male was riding his bike west bound in an alley way when he crossed into Plum Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, and was hit by a southbound car. The teen was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of various injuries. Police are looking for a dark blue vehicle with a broken windshield and a veterans license plate.
