HUTCHINSON, Kan. —– The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Legislative Forum to 
be on Tuesday, July 7, 1:00 p.m. at Hutchinson Community College, Shears Technology Center.
“This has been a remarkable year for the Kansas Legislature,” said Chamber President, Jason Ball. “Not only has it been the longest session on record, but legislators considered fundamental questions of policy related to taxation, school funding, energy policy, and local elections.”
The Forum will offer attendees the opportunity to interact with the Reno County legislators on issues that were brought before the Kansas Legislature in 2015. “We felt it was important to organize a forum for our members and other community leadership to engage in a retrospective discussion with the Reno County delegation at the earliest possible opportunity following the official conclusion of the session.” All members of the Reno County Delegation have been invited to attend the forum.
There is no cost to attend the forum. Members of the Chamber and the general public are encouraged to attend.
