HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A Hutchinson man was injured when the car he was riding was hit from behind 
by a semi this afternoon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Cody Osborn was in a car driven by 18-year-old Jason Wheatly of Moundridge when he slowed to make a turn off of K-14 at Lake cable Road. That’s when the car was rear ended by the rig driven by 19-year-old Michael Nisley of Hutchinson.
Osborn was transported by EMS to Hutchinson Regional medical center while both Wheatly and Nisley escaped injury.
The accident happened just after noon about 11 miles south of Hutchinson.
