HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Professional golfer and Hutchinson resident Bruce Vaughan will serve as honorary chairman of the 27th annual AT&T Charity Golf Tournament which is scheduled for a noon shotgun start June 1, at the Cottonwood Hills Golf Course at 1014 North Buhler Road near Hutchinson.
All funds raised at the event are earmarked for the Boys and Girls Club in Hutchinson.
Vaughan will arrive at the club house at 11 a.m. for one hour to offer tips on putting and will mingle with golfers throughout the afternoon.
Vaughan has been on the professional golf circuit for the past 25 years and, in 2008, won the Senior British Open.
Also, Vaughan will make remarks at a dinner following the tournament.
The tournament is sold out.
