HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A judicial vacancy in the 27th Judicial District (Reno County) will occur upon the retirement of District Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen on July 11. The governor will fill the position pending the next election cycle by gubernatorial appointment within 90-days after the retirement of Judge McEwen.
