HUTCHINSON, Kan. –Reno County Public Works says that the weather is creating some problems in 
getting two road projects started.
Public Works says that due to weather, the start date for the surfacing improvements for Prairie Dunes Drive and Linksland Drive has been moved to Thursday, May 28. Therefore, the roads will be closed to all through traffic beginning, May 28. If the project goes as planned, the roads should open again on May 30.
The other project is the 82nd Avenue resurfacing work. That project is now delayed until Monday June 1. Weather permitting the road will be closed from Yaggy Rd. to Wilson Rd. from June 1, until July 24.
