SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan.— Reno County citizens have again positively responded to the most recent Drug Take-Back Day held over the weekend at the South Hutchinson Police Department.
Last Saturday, citizens from all over the county turned in a total of 100 lbs. of expired and unwanted medications for disposal. More than 485 lbs. of medications have been collected since the South Hutchinson P.D. started the program in October of 2013.
The South Hutchinson Police Department will continue offering this service twice a year with the next event being held in the fall of 2015.
